Opening in phases beginning May 31, 2012, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, inspired by Disney animation, will feature 1,120 family suites themed after “The Lion King,” “Cars” and “Finding Nemo,” and 864 themed rooms in “The Little Mermaid.” Larger-than-life icons, including a 35-foot-tall model of King Triton, will grace the courtyard areas.  Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts kicked off construction of its luxury resort at Walt Disney World Resort today, in a groundbreaking ceremony with joint venture partners Silverstein Properties and Dune Real Estate.
