  • Candlelight Processional:At the America Gardens Theatre. Revel in the joy of the season as you listen to an unforgettable retelling of the Christmas story by a celebrity narrator accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and mass choir.
  • IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth: A spectacular light and sound show every night at 9:30 p.m. at the World Showcase Lagoon featuring a very special holiday finale, which includes the classic song "Let There Be Peace On Earth" and the voice of Walter Cronkite offering a special holiday message.
Holiday Storytellers: Listen to legendary holiday folklore from around the world as told at the World Showcase by the legends themselves, including France's Père Noël, Italy's LaBefana and America's Santa Claus.

Epcot® Holiday Merchandise: Stroll through the World Showcase and discover festive holiday gifts for the entire family! Visit Santa's Village in America Adventure or stop by France for a delicious gourmet treat. You may even catch a glass blower in Germany putting the finishing touches on a seasonal ornament!

Candlelight Dining Packages: Savor an extra special treat when you ring in the holiday season with a Candlelight Dining Package. Each package includes lunch or dinner at a select Epcot restaurant and reserved general seating at the America Gardens Theater during the Candlelight Processional. The delightful scent of gingerbread fills the lobby of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa at the Walt Disney World Resort where this Victorian gingerbread house is in place for the holidays. Grand Floridian pastry chefs create the 16-foot-high dream house with 1, 050 pounds of honey, 600 pounds of powdered sugar, 800 pounds of flour, 140 pints of egg whites and 180 pounds of apricot glaze.

Academy award-winning actress Mira Sorvino returns to Walt Disney World Resort Nov. 25-27, 2011, to kick off Candlelight Processional, the enormously popular Disney holiday celebration that will continue nightly through Dec. 30, 2011, at Epcot. Sorvino is among a dozen celebrities, ranging from contemporary Christian and country music artists to a soap opera legend and award-winning actor, who will take the stage for the joyous retelling of the Christmas story. They join a 50-piece orchestra and mass choir at Epcot America Gardens Theatre for performances at 5, 6:45 and 8:15 p.m. most nights. The lineup (artists subject to change):

FRIGHTFULLY FUN FIREWORKS: Orange-hued fireworks explode over Cinderella Castle while illuminated pumpkins are projected onto the facade during the “Happy HalloWishes” fireworks show. The pyrotechnics show is part of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party an after-hours Halloween celebration that takes place on select nights at the theme park.  Mickey's-Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is offered on select nights during the months of September and October.

Walt Disney World Resort will pixie dust the night skies July 4 with special pyrotechnic shows, including a patriotic display at Magic Kingdom, a rock’n’roll spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and a classic sky show at Epcot infused with an Independence Day finale. Here’s what’s in store:

  • Magic Kingdom will present “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky.”This patriotic fireworks spectacular, paying homage to the hopes and dreams of America’s forefathers, will light the skies at 9 p.m. July 4 – and for guests who would like to begin the Independence Day celebration early, the show also will be presented July 3 at 9 p.m.
  • At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, traditional Fourth of July fireworks take on a different spin when Mulch, Sweat, and Shears perform for theall-new “Rockin’ 4th of July Celebration”! These resident landscapers – with serious rock and roll ambitions –take Disney guests on a musical road trip across America that will highlight each region’s contribution to rock and roll. Fireworks, lighting and special effects – backed by the driving live rock and roll of Mulch, Sweat, and Shears – combine to bring a new twist to celebrating Independence Day. Showtime July 4 is 9:45 p.m. Before or after the show, Disney’s Hollywood Studios guests can thrill to Disney’s Fantasmic!, performing July 4 at 9 and 10:30 p.m.
  • At Epcot, sky-watchers can check out  “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earthbursting high aboveWorld Showcase Lagoon. IllumiNations is a 14-minute spectacular during which pyrotechnics, lasers, water and music are all used to tell a story about the past, present and future of our planet. On the Fourth of July, the show will be enhanced with "The Heartbeat of Freedom," an overture of traditional Americana themes displayed in a pyrotechnic and laser light event. The show is at 10 p.m.
In addition, Epcot guests may lend their ears to “Voices of Liberty 4th of July Concert” and participate in meet-and-greets with Benjamin Franklin, Betsy Ross and Disney characters adorned in patriotic dress at American Adventure.

Theme park hours on July 4 (subject to change without notice): Magic Kingdom, 9 a.m.-11 p.m.; Epcot, 9 a.m.-10 p.m.; Disney’s Hollywood Studios, 9 a.m.-10 p.m.; and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party  is a fun Christmas themed special event that is held on select nights at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort.  In order to attend this party, guests must have an additional event admission ticket. During the party guests all all ages can enjoy free hot cocoa and cookies throughout Magic Kingdom theme park, a special holiday parade,  spectacular fireworks display, live entertainment, dance parties with your favorite Disney characters and much more!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be held in 2011 on the following nights:
November 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 18, 27, 29, 30  and December 2, 4, 6, 7, 9. 11, 13, 14, 16, and 18.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a fun Halloween themed special event that is held on select nights at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort.  In order to attend this party, guests must have an additional event admission ticket. During the party guests all all ages can enjoy trick or treating throughout Magic Kingdom theme park, a special Halloween "Boo to You" parade,  Halloween fireworks display and much more!  All guests are also encouraged to dress in their favorite Halloween costumes too!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party will be held in 2011 on the following nights:
