Characters from Disney Channel’s hit animated series “Phineas and Ferb” have joined the lineup of stars to appear at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Phineas (right) and Ferb (left) pose in front of the Sorcerer Mickey hat. The duo can be spotted in a meet-and-great area near Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano that’s themed after a movie-making adventure. Guests are welcome to serve as “extras” in each “scene” in their movie and pose for photos along the way.

With a romantic overlay for Valentine’s month, a new segment of the “The Magic, The Memories, and You!” projection show on Cinderella Castle is set to debut today, Feb. 1 for Walt Disney World Resort guests. For the first half of Valentine’s month, until Feb. 15, some of the most romantic moments in Disney animation will inspire the special show. The iconic castle in Magic Kingdom will be covered in red roses for one sequence and turned into a beautiful, star-filled sky for another. During part of the show, spectacular stained-glass windows will grace the façades, depicting the stories of Cinderella, Snow White and Belle. “The Magic, The Memories, and You!” is a part of Disney’s “Let the Memories Begin” in 2012.

Jan 23 marked the start of the Chinese New Year! 2012 is the Year of the Dragon and according to the Chinese zodiac, dragons often do things in grand fashion. This larger-than-life LEGO creature is no different at 30ft. in length and can be spotted in Village Lake across from the LEGO Imagination Center at Downtown Disney Marketplace at Walt Disney World Resort .  He’s technically a sea serpent but no less commanding a presence in his watery home.
