Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. I enjoy the lights, the music, the holiday spirit and of course the food. I had the privilege of spending a week last December at the Walt Disney World Resort. I have been several times before but I have to say this was my favorite time by far. This trip combined two of my favorite things…. Christmas and Disney World. If you get a chance to visit during this time, here are a few things that I would suggest. 1. Candlelight Processional with a Dinner Package at Epcot. The Candlelight Processional has a Celebrity Narrator that tells the story of the birth of Christ, along with a 50-Piece orchestra and mass choir performing beautiful music. T
Bring or rent a stroller. This is one of the most important tips I can give you. You will be walking upwards of seven miles or more each day you’re in a park. I recommend a stroller for any child six and under. Stay on site. Staying on site will make your entire trip easier and more enjoyable. Use Disney transportation. At the end of a long day, the last thing you’ll want to do is search the lot for your vehicle. Take breaks during the day. Little people (and big people too!) need breaks. I recommend taking a break after lunch for a nap at your resort to recharge your batteries. Arrive about 30 minutes before the park opens. This will allow you to beat the heat and get in several rides bef

Heidi's Top Five Travel Must-Haves Include: 1. Sound machine that is actually an app on my iPhone. I use a fan noise to help lull me to sleep and it drowns out the noises of unfamiliar hotels. 2. Pop Up Hamper. Whether it's a weekend trip or a week long trip, I always pack a pop up hamper. This is so easy to store in your luggage. When I arrive at my destination, I "pop" up the hamper and put it in the corner of the room (or bathroom) to store all my dirty clothes. Then, at the end of the trip, I simply fold up the hamper with the dirty clothes in it and put in my luggage. When I get home, I place the hamper full of my dirty clothes straight into the laundry room...viola! 3. Baby/Talcum Po
