Hola from Casa Velas! I just returned from this boutique, luxury, adults-only resort in Puerto Vallarta. Puerto Vallarta is typically known as a “family-centric” destinations, but this sophisticated resort forgoes that notion.Casa Velas takes All-Inclusive to the next level! LocationCasa Velas has an Old Hacienda Estate atmosphere - so if you’re looking for the sleek, shiny, and modern this might not be the resort for you. If you want to really feel like you’re in Mexico then read on! Surrounded by tropical gardens, you’ll find your own secret oasis. Marina Vallarta Golf Club is only a quick drive away (the resort will take you upon request) and offers Casa Velas guest special pricing. The resort is also seconds from the beach. Relax at the Beach Club - a private ocean club where your all-inclusive amenities are still available to use! A full bar, restaurant, beach towels and loungers, pool, and Bathrooms, showers and changing rooms are waiting for you. Grab a drink, take in the sunset and enjoy the calming sounds of the waves.2.) Accommodations
With only 80 Rooms, you truly get the opportunity to disconnect from the stress of everyday life. Now, if you do need to check-in on social media and share a few pictures of your vacation, WiFi is included with your stay. Casa Velas Master Suites start at 500 square feet! Many rooms have their own private plunge pool and/or jacuzzi. What really stood out to me were the L'Occitane products, a beach bag for in-house use, and a customized pillow menu. Of course, there is a minibar and snacks replenished daily. We requested Coke products instead of Pepsi and it was switch quickly and always stocked and cold!3.) Gourmet Food The main restaurant, Emiliano, was a great option for us! You can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the patio or inside. No yucky buffet here as all the food is offered à la carte and prepared just the way you like it. Gluten-Free? No Sugar Diet? Just don’t like Seafood? No problem! As someone with Celiac Disease, I felt completely safe eating at Casa Velas! Guests also have access to the Beach Club Bar that offers a great selection as well! If you'd rather stay in your robe and eat on your private patio, Casa Velas offers an extensive 24-Hour in-suite dining menu too.
4.) Staff & ServiceFrom the moment we stepped into the lobby we were welcomed with a cool towel and a refreshing beverage. When we left, we were offered a bottle of water for the ride to the airport. Every moment in between was filled with WOW Moments. The staff members at Casa Velas remember your preferences - from what you want stocked in your mini-bar, to pool side drinks, to food allergies and dining preferences. We always felt like a VIP when the bartender remember we liked Mimosas at brunch and what out nightcaps were. The most impressive moment I had was by a staff member named Eduardo/ Eduardo served me one evening and guided me through what I could have that was gluten free.The next night at dinner (at a completely different restaurant) he recognized me and was the first staff member to greet me as I sat down. He assured me I could eat everything on that night’s menu!Overall Impression: Casa Velas is perfect for adults wanting to disconnect from their daily lives. The quaint, traditional Hacienda atmosphere is perfect for the boutique 80 room resort. While it’s not directly beach front, Casa Velas offers a complimentary shuttle to a private beach club! Their Inclusive value is a huge perk, but it’s the staff and their service that really shines the most.
